Leo, so asiatic lion is a subspecies not a species of lions since there is only 1 species.

actually, asiatic lions were found to weigh just as much as african lions. however, due to factors like inbreding the lions are genetically weaker, producing
animals weaker than normal.

That's why i said i doubt Asiatic Lions are the smallest subspecies. The lions from Waza np are also said to be inbred and much smaller than other subspecies of lions, don't forget that. |

i don`t think they`re smaller...for simple reasons. i.e.,proportionately speaking, there may be no difference between the lions, and of course weight can
change in different areas where prey availablity is limited. but, i look for what`s supposed to be the nromal weight.

And it is generally regarded that Masai lion is the smallest lion subspecies, so what the hell are you arguing about? do you even know what i am talking about? Experts already concluded that Lions in Africa has enough genetic difference to classify them into different subspecies and you still mention that " there may be no difference between the lions" Come on. ZZZ, you don't even seem to be able to comprehend a single sentence of my post.
